The Aberfoyle Trail Festival on 10 October 2026 is set in the heart of Scotland’s stunning Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.

Choose from two epic trail races – the classic Aberfoyle Trail Half Marathon and the Aberfoyle Ultra.

The 21km Half Marathon is a picturesque but challenging course with an elevation gain of ~ 350m. Runners traverse through ancient forests, scenic riverside paths, and challenging climbs, while experiencing the raw beauty of Scotland’s rugged terrain. Terrain is technical singletrack sections, open moorland, and fast descents through towering pine forests.

​The 63km Ultra takes runners through enchanting forests, alongside scenic lochs with breathtaking views of the iconic Ben Lomond.
