The Mulberry Bush Montessori Balfron 10K on 3 May 2026 is a scenic 10km running race through the beautiful Stirlingshire countryside.

The course starts and finishes at Balfron High School and takes runners on an out and back route along Roman Road in Balfron, to the turning point along the Endrick valley past Broughmore Farm, then back. It features a fair few hills but the views usually compensate.

The event is open to runners of all abilities, aged over 15 years and it will be run under a Scottish Athletics permit.

This village event has an eco-friendly ethos with plastic being ditched in favour of water bowsers and reuseable cups and a range of unique medals for finishers including wooden keyrings, seed bombs and biscuits.

Balfron is in rural Stirlingshire, within easy reach of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
