A Backyard Ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run a 6.71km / 4.17 mile course in less than one hour, every hour. When each lap is completed, the remaining time within the hour is used to recover and replenish for the next hour's race.

This event has a 24 Hour time limit - Complete all 24 laps and you have run over 100 miles. Anyone who makes the final lap is in for the final showdown.

The event is based at Manor Farm, Bradenham.
