Christ College Brecon's annual Mountain Challenge on 24 May 2025 is a walking/running challenge in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Participants can choose from a 23 mile, 13 mile or 10 mile route, all starting and finishing in the school grounds.

The 10 mile course is a low level route using footpaths, roads and the canal towpath. The 13 and 26 mile routes take in Pen y Fan, the highest mountain in South Wales.

There will be no route markers other than checkpoints. Entrants should be capable of navigating via map and compass over difficult terrain.
