The Lake District Running Festival's Grasmere Gallop from 30 to 31 May 2026 offers 2 days of fully way-marked trail running and nordic walking for all the family.

Choose from a 5.7km, 10km or 17km trail run or 10km Nordic walk on Saturday, or step up to the 42km Trail Marathon on Sunday.

All courses are set in the spectacular surroundings of Grasmere and Rydal Water in the Lake District National Park, a World Heritage Site.

Saturday events also include the Kids' under 12 1 mile fun run and the Teddy Dash, which is open to teddy bears (and other animals) of any age accompanied by a child under 5 years.

The Lake District Running Festival also includes the OMM Lite Adventure Race events over the same weekend. It's a very friendly weekend with camping, retail, talks, workshops, bar and catering on site.
