The IOM Backyard Ultra starting on 2 October 2026 is the Isle of Man’s first Backyard Ultra race - last one standing wins.

This endurance event follows the classic Backyard Ultra format where runners complete a 4.167 mile loop starting every hour, on the hour, until only one runner remains.

Based at Archalligan Plantation, competitors will set off on the hour every hour to complete the 4.167 mile loop. They must complete the yard within the hour to enter the next hour. All competitors will DNF until the last person to finish a loop by themselves is crowned the course champion.
