The Kent Downs 50 Ultra Challenge on 10 October 2026 is self-paced trail run or walk, based from Maidstone.

Starting and finishing at Detling Showground, the full 50km challenge is held on a looped route that heads anticlockwise around the Kent Downs; on the North Downs Way to Blue Bell Hill, and follows the River Medway to Mote Park (halfway). Along the Len Valley Walk to the majestic Leeds Castle, then back to the show-ground finish line.

There are also 25km & 10km options available.

This is a fully supported event on marked routes and GPS tracking to guide you.
