The Kilometre of Vert in Kernow or KVK on 10 May 2026 is the first and only vertical ascent based race in the South West.

Based from the Perranporth Airfield in Trevellas, the course is two figure-of-eight loops that take in 15 miles total distance of inland hills and coastal running... big climbs, and big downhills.

The event can be run in a relay team of two - with each member completing 1 x loop / 7.5 miles with 500m ascent and descent.

The SOLO KVK is a UTMB 20km Index race.
