The Kirkbymoorside 10K on 3 May 2026 is a popular annual road race in North Yorkshire.
The 10km is a fast-paced and undulating race. The scenic route heads up from Kirkbymoorside into the villages of Gillamoor and Fadmoor, finishing with a downhill stretch through the town with spectators lining the street and encouraging runners all the way to the end.
As well as the 10km, there is also a 4km fun run held on a quiet country road loop plus 2 Kids' events (the Dash and the Children's mile).
All races (except the Dash) are chip timed and age category prizes will up for grabs. The famous Kirkby 10K mug will be presented to everyone finishing the 10K and there will be a cash prize for the first male or female to beat the respective course record.
All profits from the race go to Kirkbymoorside and Gillamoor Primary Schools.
