The Lakeland Trails at Leighton Hall on 14 March 2026 offers a 10km and Half Marathon distance set in stunning north Lancashire countryside.

The course details on this page are based on a previous event and subject to change; we will update this listing as more information comes to hand.

The course begins with a fast first mile down a country lane, leading to the Leighton Moss RSPB's Nature Reserve. A dash through the North West's largest area of Reed Beds brings entrants to a short climb through the old woods leading to Trowbarrow Quarry. In and out of fast paced trails, the route then skirts the edge of Hawes Water, before looping back around through Leighton Hall's woodland.

This event is now organised by Lakeland Trails.
