The London Lea Valley Ultra on 20 March 2027 is a flat 50km from Welwyn Garden City to Hackney Wick, East London.

The flat 50km route follows the scenic Cole Green Way and Lea Valley Path all the way from rural Hertfordshire to East London, finishing close to Hackney Wick station.

2027 includes the option to run the full 53 miles of the River Lea - from the source at Leagrave to River Thames. Following the FKT route, runners will be unsupported until they join at Welwyn where they will become part of the Lea Valley 50km race.

This event also incorporates the Gratitude 25K which starts at Broxbourne and takes you down the stunning Lea Valley canal all the way to the finish in the heart of Hackney Wick.
