National Forest Way Ultra 75

Burton-on-Trent, Midlands, UK

Follow event Run/Walk Off Road/Trail Qualifying Criteria

The inaugural National Forest Way Ultra on 6 June 2026 is a 75 mile challenge across the heart of England’s wild Midlands.

This is the first-ever ultra marathon held on the National Forest Way. The course cuts across Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and Staffordshire, linking the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas to the windswept heights of Beacon Hill Country Park. It’s a trail carved through old mining country and reborn woodlands – where ancient paths, rough farmland, and steep climbs push you harder with every mile.

This is a tough course and qualifying criteria applies. The first runner to cross the finish line gets to light the Beacon Race Events Beacon.
