Phoenix South Wales' Feisty Phoenix event on 29 March 2025 is a 7 hour running challenge through Parc Taf Bargoed.

From 5km to 10km, Half to Marathon to Ultra, entrants complete as many laps as they like of a 5.3km (3.28 mile) out and back course within a 7 hour time limit. The course is multi-terrain with the majority on tarmac paths and approximately 0.5 miles on riverside trail. The overall course has an elevation gain of 37m.

Parc Taf Bargoed, a Green Flag park, offers visitors access to an area of exquisite beauty and spectacular views shaped by the area's industrial past and recent redevelopment.

Complete one lap, or keep going and see how far you can go. Everyone gets a bespoke finishers medal. Both runners and walkers are welcome.
