The c2c Essex Ultra on 12 September 2026 includes 50 and 30 mile ultramarathons, plus a 10 mile distance on the beautiful Essex Riviera.

The routes follow along the Thames going east, utilising the London Loop and England Coast National Trails. The terrain is mainly tarmac with some hard trails in sections. The 50 mile route starts at Upminster, the 30 mile begins in Tilbury and the 10 mile at Benfleet. All routes finish at Thorpedene Primary School, Southend-on-Sea.

The scenery is a mixture of urban, marsh land and river bank, with some amazing views of this part of the Thames and Greater London..

Everyone taking part will receive free travel on the c2c route to and from the race.

This event is organised by c2c and raises vital funds for charity.
