The Trails & Tarmac Winter Winter 12 Hour Back Yard Ultra on 6 February 2027 is a last one standing endurance race in the Black Mountains, Wales.

Competitors must consecutively run a 4.2 mile lap (yard) in less than one hour, every hour. The first 11 yards are the standard BYU format. The 12th and final yard is a sprint race to determine the winner… with a twist - the course direction is reversed.

Based just outside Crickhowell, the course is 50/50 Trail and Tarmac, with only one gradual climb and a short steep section, the rest is relatively flat terrain, which means fast.
