The Viaduct Run Ras Draphont in Swffryd on 19 July 2026 includes an approximately 5 mile and 5km distance, plus a free family fun run.

This multi-terrain race follows the route of the former railway, leading to the great Crumlin Viaduct. The 5 mile route extends from the 5km course, running out towards Llanhilleth, before looping back into Swffryd.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to Sofrydd Primary School.

The event is organised by Abertillery & Llanhilleth Community Council.
