The Nuclear Rush OCR Races in Brentwood, Essex across the weekend 9 to 10 May 2026 offers a variety of options for all levels.
Adults can choose from a chip-timed 6km (40+ obstacles) or 12km (70+ obstacles) distance over a muddy farmland course. Attempt as many obstacles as you like.
Kids (Rookies) can test their skills on a specially designed 1.5km course filled with around 20 kid-sized obstacles while running in woods, on paths & open fields. Those 4-8 years of age complete one lap of the 1.5km course (accompanied by an adult). 9-14 year olds complete the 1.5km lap twice (3km).
There are also 1.5km and 4km Family waves. There must be one member in the group who is 18+ years.
This event also hosts the British OCR Championship 2026. This event uses the 12km Rush course with an additional route and obstacles specifically for the British Championship. Supported by British Obstacle Sports, it is designed for elite and pro OCR athletes.
