The Alderford Kids Fun Triathlon on 5 September 2026 is held the day before the Alderford Triathlon in Shropshire.

This fun swim, bike, run triathlon event is designed for kids aged 7 - 16 years including a team relay option of 2-3 members. There are achievable distances for all abilities.

The event course is contained within the grounds of Alderford Lake with a freshwater lake edge swim and a grass cycle & run course around the beautiful lake.

All participants receive a UK Kids Fun Triathlon finishers medal.

Distances/Events

Triathlon (Swim + Bike + Run):
7-9 yrs: 25m + 1K + 500m
8-11 yrs: 50m + 2K + 1K
10-13 yrs: 50m + 3K + 1.5K
12-15 yrs: 100m + 4K + 2K
13-16 yrs: 150m + 4K + 2.5K

All Ages Relay Team:
Zinc: 25m + 1K + 500m
Bronze: 50m + 3K + 1.5K
Gold: 150m + 4K + 2.5K
