The Beacons Ultra event on 8 November 2025 includes a Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra Marathon trail run in and around the Brecon Beacons, Wales.

Based from Talybont On Usk, the 46ish mile Ultra is a mixed trail/mountain/canal/road run. Held in the middle of November, climatic conditions can vary quite considerably. The race has taken place in everything from sparkling sunshine through to minus 8 degrees, with obligatory rain and mist thrown in to remind the athletes that they are running in Wales in all its glory.

The Marathon route is a single loop of the Ultra course with a quick trip up Pen y Fan, when climatic conditions can vary quite considerably.

The Half Marathon is a 13ish mile run in and around the lovely village of Talybont On Usk at the foothills of the Brecon Beacons.
