The Birmingham Black Country Half Marathon on 4 July 2026 is a Point to Point Half Marathon along the canal path between Wolverhampton and Birmingham.
The race format is seeded (based upon the competitor's predicted finish time), with runners starting in waves. The route is mainly flat with locks and bridges as the only inclines. and the famous 'Coseley Tunnel' a 360 metre tunnel, as a memorable feature of the race.
Course terrain varies from gravel tracks and trails, to smooth pavement.
Entry is open to all abilities. All finishers will receive a bespoke finisher's medal and a goody bag.
