The Breaking The Laws on 13 September 2026 is a 30km mixed-terrain running event based in North Berwick, East Lothian.

The course includes 640 metres of ascent with road, trail and hill sections. It is fully marshalled throughout and can be run solo or in a relay team of 3.

There is also a scenic 10km circular walk option around North Berwick and Balgone.

The event honours the Scottish Commandos and raises funds for Scottish Veterans Residences. This charity provides supported housing for all former members of the UK Armed Forces who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
