The Canal Shuffle on 9 May 2026 is a 7 Hour running challenge in Sampford Peverell, near Tiverton.

Participants have 7 hours to run as many laps as they want - to achieve a chosen distance or even beat it. Runners can stop anytime after just one lap.

The course is a flat 6.55 mile out-and-back route along the Grand Western Canal. Starting at Sampford Peverell, the picturesque route follows the canal to Burlsecombe and back again.

This is a cup-free event - bring your own cup/water bottle for refilling at aid stations during the race.
