The Colchester 10K on 9 May 2027 takes place on a flat, fast, scenic and accurately measured course in Colchester, Essex.

The race and finishes at Abbey Field, just outside the Garrison Running track. It is a circular route on pavements and tracks around the garrison area, finishing with a final sprint alongside the Garrison track and an 80m grass finish.

Most of the course is level, with some gentle slopes near the finish.

It is fully marshalled, with km markers and water stations.
