The Country to Capital Ultra Marathon on 9 January 2027 is a 43 mile point-to-point race from Wendover to London.

The course takes runners through the stunning Buckinghamshire countryside, crossing the M25 by bridge, through the picturesque village of Denham where it picks up the Grand Union Canal tow path for the final run into London. The finish is at the Little Venice canal basin a surprising tranquil setting but in the heart of London next to Paddington station. The terrain is a mix of country trails and canal towpath.

The event is an Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) index race.

This will be a fully tracked and interactive race so friends and family can follow your progress from the comfort of their armchairs – and also you can make sure that you are following the route.
