The Dark Skies Run @ Kielder from 6 to 7 March 2027 includes a night Marathon, 11 miles and 10km trail run at Kielder Water.

All distances start and finish at Kielder Waterside. The Marathon takes in a full 26.6 mile anti clockwise loop of the entire Kielder Water, while the 11 mile route is an out-and-back route running north towards the viaduct, and returning. Sunday's 10km is an anti clockwise loop of the infamous Bull Crag.

There is also the option to enter the Kielder Double, as 2-day stage race running the 26.6km and 10km races across the weekend.

Routes are fully marked and marshalled. Head/chest/waist torch is mandatory.

This race is part of the Trail Outlaws' 2027 Dark Skies Run Series.
