Dragon Coastal Ultramarathons
Saturday, 18 July 2026 to Sunday, 19 July 2026
Rhossili Bay to Cardiff Bay, Wales, UK
The Dragon Coastal Ultramarathons from 18 to 19 July 2026 are 3 epic ultra-trail races along the Wales coast path.
The routes are all point-to-point courses with different start lines and a finish in Cardiff Bay. The 100 mile starts at Rhossili Bay, the 50 miles at Kenfig Nature Reserve and the 30 miles at Dunraven Bay.
All courses follow the Wales Coast Path and after the final mile over the Cardiff Bay Barrage, finish at the Captain Scott Memorial and iconic Norwegian Church. The routes are easy to navigate and non-technical over some fast runnable coastal trails. Terrain also includes multiple beaches, sand and shingle.
The route is marked with Wales Coast Path signs, and there is additional running arrows and tape where runners leave the coast path.
This is a self-navigation event. Entrants are provided with a marked map and detailed route explanations. There will be a number of manned checkpoints with refreshments provided.
