The Durham Coastal Trail Half Marathon on 27 June 2027 is a popular and challenging trail run set on the scenic Durham Coastal Path.

The approximately 13.1 mile course is entirely off-road and features undulating sections along the cliff top coastal path and challenging descents and ascents, including many steps along the way (approx 320). There is also a section through the picturesque woodland of Hawthorn Dene nature reserve.

The route is fully marked and marshalled.
