The Giddy Horse Races on 26 October 2025 includes Trail Races, Night Runs, Canicross and Backyard Races based from Chepstow Racecourse, Monmouthshire.
The races are based on a 4.167 mile loop around the beautiful Piercefield Park, on a mix of woodland, parkland and tarmac trails. The loop is largely flat with a little rise and fall in the middle of the circuit with views of the Severn Bridge and views of the cliffs along the Wye Valley..
The 4 mile trail race is 1 lap of the course, 8 miles is 2 laps and the Half Marathon is 3 slightly extended laps. There are also 4 mile and 8 mile Night races and Canicross options - refer to event website for associated rules.
Backyard Races include a 12hr (50 mile), 8hr (33 miles) for solo runners and a team relay option for the 12hr race with team size of pairs (2), small team (3-5), medium team (6-8), large team (9-12).
