The Gower Coastal Trail Races on 4 October 2025 includes three long distance events that follow the Wales Coastal Path around the Gower Peninsula.

Distances include a 50 mile and 34 mile Ultra Marathon, plus a 23 mile option.

The Gower Ultra 50 is a complete circumnavigation of the stunning Gower Peninsula. Runners will pass stunning beaches, amazing bays, tiny coves, farmland, fishing villages and amazing views from start to finish. The Gower Ultra Bach follows the final 34 miles of coastline from Llandimore to the Mumbles. The Gower Trail Race follows the final 23 miles of the full route from Rhossili to Mumbles.

All three distances take in a variety of terrains and are well-marked with Wales Coast Path signs and, where the route leaves the path, with direction arrows and flags to make an easy to navigate adventure.

This is a self-navigation event. Entrants are provided with a marked map and detailed route explanations. There will be a number of manned checkpoints with refreshments provided.
