The Highland Fling Race on 18 September 2027 is a 53 mile point-to-point Trail Ultra along the southern section of the West Highland Way.

The course takes runners through Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park from Milngavie to Tyndrum. It is 90% trail, on a way-marked route (no navigation required).

The trail sections are varied, from smooth hard-packed paths, to undulating runnable sections and technical rock and tree root dominated terrain where you will need to use your hands as often as your feet.

The event can be completed solo or in a two-person relay with the turnover point at Rowardennan.
