The Altra Kielder Marathon and festival events are back over the weekend 3 to 4 October 2026.

Called 'Britain's Most Beautiful', this event includes a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km run plus a Run Bike Run Duathlon event and kids' distances.

The marathon route follows an almost entirely off-road course around northern Europe’s largest man-made lake, Kielder Water, in Northumberland.
