The Lakes 3000 Ultra on 26 June 2027 is a 54-mile mountain challenge in Keswick, Cumbria.
The challenge links all four 3,000-foot peaks of the Lake District: Scafell, Scafell Pike, Helvellyn, and Skiddaw. With over 15,000 feet of climbing and a strict 24‑hour time limit, the route demands endurance and resilience.
Starting and finishing at the Keswick Pencil Factory, runners will traverse dramatic valleys, technical ridgelines, and remote high‑fell terrain.
The course is unmarked but follows established Public Rights of Way (PROW). Participants are required to self-navigate the route using a provided GPX file & Map.
