The North West Kids Fun Duathlon on 19 September 2026 is held the day before the North West Triathlon.

This fun run, bike, run duathlon event is designed for kids aged 5 - 16 years including a team relay option of 2-3 members. There are achievable distances for all abilities.

Both the run and bike courses are held on grass within Barony Park.

All participants receive a UK Kids Fun Triathlon finishers medal.

Distances/Events

Duathlon: Run + Bike + Run:
5-7 yrs: 100m + 1K + 500m
6-9 yrs: 200m + 1K + 500m
8-11 yrs: 200m + 2K + 1K
10-13 yrs: 400m + 3K + 1.5K
12-15 yrs: 400m + 4K + 2K
13-16 yrs: 600m + 4K + 2.5K

All Ages Relay Team: 600m + 4K + 2.5K
