The inaugural Resolute Backyard Ultra starting on 8 May 2027 is based on woodland trails in Delamere Forest.

This endurance ultramarathon event has participants running a 4.167 mile loop every hour, on the hour, continuously. The event is over when only one person remains.

The route is made up of two laps totalling in a 4.167 mile loop with 232 ft elevation.
