The Retford Half Marathon on 15 March 2026 is held on a scenic, mostly flat road course through the Nottinghamshire countryside.

The 13.1 mile route sets off from Retford Oaks Academy on Babworth Road, skirts the edge of Retford, heads north along the old London Road, then returns via rural roads to finish back at the Academy. It is chip-timed and officially measured.

There is also an approximately 2km Family Fun held after the main race. This is open to all ages (children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult). The course is a 2 lap course of the Retford Oaks site, all on solid ground.

This annual event is organised by Retford Athletic Club.
