The Saltmarsh Ultramarathon on 4 October 2026 is a 50 mile ultra held along picturesque Essex Saltmarsh coastline.

The point-to-point course starts in South Woodham and finishes in Maldon. The route will be marked by coastal path finger posts but runners have the opportunity to use written instructions or a GPX file.

This event is fully supported with aid stations at regular intervals.

It is a cup-free event - bring your own cup/water bottle for refilling at aid stations during the race.
