The Shropshire Backyard Ultra starting on 17 April 2027 is a last one standing endurance event in Shrewsbury.

Based at The West Mid Showground, runners complete a 4.167 mile loop every hour, on the hour, until only one competitor remains.

The event can be run as a team event (pairs and 4s) where members take on the individual challenge and score a point for every loop completed by a team member. It can also be run as a 24-Hour Relay, with teams of 2 - 4 working to complete 100 miles in 24 hours.
