The Slow & Dirty Trail Run on 20 December 2026 is a 19km off-road race in the beautiful Stour Valley of Dorset.

Starting at Sturminster Newton, the course follows a fairly flat, point-to-point route along the old Somerset and Dorset railway route, passing through the restored Shillingstone station and the Georgian town of Blandford. The finish line is in Spetisbury.

Runners of all abilities are welcome, as are dogs and buggies. Enjoy a warm festive welcome at the finish line with mulled cider and mince pies.

The route is fully marked with direction markers and signs every km.

This event is organised by Tricounties Trail Running.
