Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri
Saturday, 10 July 2027 to Sunday, 11 July 2027
Llanberis, Caernarfon, UK
The Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri from 10 to 11 July 2027 is set in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and is one of the UK’s most iconic mountain running events.
Choose from four distances: 58km Ultra Marathon, Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K, all based from the mountain town of Llanberis, North Wales.
The challenging courses take runners across rugged trails, steep climbs, forest tracks, and panoramic mountain scenery. The routes showcase some of Eryri’s most spectacular landscapes, passing through Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, Nant Gwynant, Pen y Pass, and, for selected distances, the slopes of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest mountain in both England and Wales. Both the Ultra and Marathon are UTMB-indexed races.
Saturday's 10km is a mixture of road, track and trail and takes in the lower slopes of Snowdon, woodlands around Dolbadarn Castle, a gruelling Zig Zag to the top of Vivian Quarry and stunning forest trails all the way to the finish line.
This event is held on the same weekend as the Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon 24 Endurance Race.
