Studland Swimrun
Saturday, 13 June 2026
Studland, Dorset, UK
The Studland Swimrun returns to the South Coast of England on 13 June 2026 with a short, middle and long course distance.
Swimrun is a sport where teams of 2, or individual athletes, complete a course involving multiple segments of running and swimming, without any kit transitions, so participants wear the same kit from start to finish.
All 3 races start from the National Trust village of Studland, where the water is often calm due to the shelter given from the prevailing south westerly winds by Ballard Down.
The short course is ideal if this is your first swimrun. The middle course has the slightly more swimming and adds distance to the runs by extending to the top of Ballard Down with its 360degree views. The Long course is challenging in places with technical trail running, uphills and downhills, long swims and great scenery, taking in Old Harry, Ballard Down, Swanage Bay, Durlston and Anvil Point.
