The Summer Canal Canter on 1 August 2026 includes a Half Marathon, 10km and 5km in Tiverton, Devon.

The out and back routes are held 100% on the Grand Western Canal Path starting at Tiverton Canal Basin with the Half Marathon turning at Sampford Peverell and the 5km and 10km at an earlier point in the course.

There is approx 90ft of ascent in the Half Marathon making it a flat fast course along the hard packed gravel canal paths.

This is a cup-free event - bring your own cup/water bottle for refilling at aid stations during the race.
