The The Fox Trail Ultra, Marathon & Half Marathon on 23 May 2026 are based on sections of the Fox Way in Surrey.

The 62km Ultra Marathon circumnavigates Guildford, starting and finishing from Godalming and follows the Fox Way for the majority of the course. The route covers a range of terrain, from grassy farm fields, sandy trails, canal pathway and woodlands.

The 41km Marathon joins the route in West Clandon, whilst the 20K Half Marathon starts at Merrist Wood College in Worplesdon. All races finish in Goldalming. Marathon and Half Marathon events set off later in the morning and follow shorter sections of this picturesque, mixed-terrain route so that all runners unite at the same finish line in Godalming.

This is a cup-free event - bring your own cup/water bottle for refilling at aid stations during the race.
