The Trawsfynydd Lake Race on 19 April 2026 is a beautiful, 8.6 mile multi-terrain race around Trawsfynydd lake in Eryri/Snowdonia National Park.

The course is predominately flat with one ascent at the beginning of the race, a few undulating sections and a gradual ascent as you come through Trawsfynydd Village. The route mainly uses the Traws Lake Cycle Path around Trawsfynydd Lake for the majority of the course.

There is also a 1 mile race for kids (register on the day).

All proceeds for the event are in aid of the South Snowdonia Search and Rescue Team. The team is run entirely by volunteers, who are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to help those in need in the local area.
