The UK Ultra Dark Downs 50K on 25 September 2027 is a Dusk till Dawn loop in the South Downs, starting and finishing at Plumpton Racecourse in Lewes.

The race will start as the sun is setting, and runners/walkers will have 12 hours to complete it. Terrain is 95% trail and 5% road. There will be 4 aid stations and a fully marked course with very high visibility/reflective signage and Marshall's out at regular intervals.

As well as the 50km distance, there is also a 20 mile and a Half Marathon held on beautiful single loop routes through the South Downs National Park at night. The courses are achievable and a great option for first time trail runners.
