Ultra X Wales from 25 to 26 July 2026 is based in the hills of the Brecon Beacons starting near Abergavenny, Monmouthshire.
The courses explore the Black Mountains to the East of the National Park across a mix of runnable and technical trail, with beautiful vistas.
The 2026 event offers 6 events: 110km single stage, 110km over two stages (Saturday & Sunday), a 60km (Saturday), 50km (Sunday), 25km (Sunday) and 12km (Sunday) event.
Routes are marked and there are checkpoints stationed approximately 10km apart where competitors can access water, snacks, shelter, and if necessary, medical support.
The Ultra X 110 multi-stage course takes participants on two looped courses starting and finishing at the event campsite, Llangorse Activity Centre. There are two stages, Saturday (60km) and Sunday (50km).
