The Western Heights Trail Races on 6 October 2024 traverse the fortifications of the Western Heights, including the Drop Redoubt and Citadel Fortress in Dover.

Choose from a 5km, 10km distance. For the kids, there are the The Mighty Miles Children's Races, in collaboration with the White Cliffs Athletics and Running Club. Featuring 1 and 2 mile runs, this fun event takes place inside the Citadel's revetment.

Over the years, Dover's rugged coastline has been the scene of many battles and now this is your chance to challenge yourself around this historic landscape. Enjoy breathtaking views across the channel to France.
