The William Wallace Running Festival on 10 October 2026 offers 4 iconic routes through the beautiful picturesque countryside of Scotland.

The 2 longest distances in the festival are the 70km and 50km ultramarathons - both held on a spectacular mixed terrain loop of historic Stirling, starting in view of the Wallace Monument and under the shadow of the Ochil Hills. Both ultras can be completed solo or in a relay team of 3 or 6.

The Braveheart 10km is on a flat, out and back route that takes runners alongside the River Forth and over the Stirling Old Bridge.

The Wallace Warriors 1 mile fun run is a traffic free flat run. There are no age restrictions for this event but adults must accompany young children around the event - adults are free and don't need to sign up.
