The Winter's End 50 Mile Ultra & Marathon on 21 March 2026 are point to point trail runs on the South Downs Way National Trail.

The 50 mile ultramarathon starts just outside the historic market town of Arundel in West Sussex, and takes runners on a beautifully scenic, point to point course on trails that follow the old routes and droveways along the chalk ridge of the South Downs. It passes picturesque villages and ancient woodlands as it winds its way to the finish in the medieval cathedral city of Winchester in Hampshire.

Marathon runners have the choice of 2 different routes, with course #1 starting from Arundel and finishing at Queen Elizabeth Country Park (QECP) and course #2 starting at QECP and finishing in Winchester.
