Wye Valley Tunnel Run

The Wye Valley Tunnel Run on 19 July 2026 includes Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km distances in Sedbury, Chepstow.

The Marathon is a 2-lap course on a largely flat route, with a 50m rocky trail section and few flights of steps as the route transitions from one flat area to another. It is essentially out and back route following the railway line all the way from Sedbury on the outskirts of Chepstow to the old Tintern Station and return.

There are 2 Half Marathon courses to choose from - Valley View (2-laps) or the Tintern Station (1-lap) route. The 10km is an out and back route, predominantly on the old railway line so it is lovely and flat and benefits from a lot of tree shading which is great on a warm day.

All courses start at Wyedean School are are based on old railway trails and river side paths. All go through the Wye Valley Tunnel as some point on the route.

There is also a 500m and a 2km Colourburst event which is on laps of the Wyedean School football pitch.
