Follow event Run/Walk Off Road/Trail Self-Navigation

The Yorkshire Wolds Ultra on 25 July 2026 is a 55km ultra-marathon on a circular route, starting and finishing on the edge of Pocklington.

The course has been designed so that you get to discover the best parts of the Wolds and some of the less trodden trails.

You’ll climb up hidden valleys with incredible views, run through wild grass meadows and visit the picturesque villages of Givendale, Bishop Wilton, Kirby Underdale, Thixendale and Fridaythorpe.

The route is on established paths and key junctions will be marked with a combination of ground flags and signs. Some self-navigation is required as it is not fully marked. GPX is provided.

The generous 12 hour cut-off time would be suitable for anyone with a good level of fitness.
